Officially spring!
I sat at the bluff overlooking the mouth of the Kenai River and Cook Inlet during lunch today - it’s a great place for photos - I’ll share if any came out - later after downloading.
But today? Today was special! I now know that it is officially spring in Alaska: I saw my first pair of ducks winging madly overhead - AND - I heard my first woodpecker. Yay!
Not much sun today - it breaks through enticingly on occasion, though. Mt. Redoubt had a cloud layer right across her middle. An all-around lovely bit of time away from shop.
Don’t forget to go and vote for Knitting Passions or Watching Survivor - okay? And, if you are nominated for something, let me know so I can go vote for you, too.
And, congrats to Lessa for her new “watching” blog - Watching Rachel Ray.
I tell you, Lessa’s snark is on fulltime these days. I love living life vicariously through her. It is SO much fun!
