Taking a break while sorting through my skeins upon skeins of yarn. Someone (of my yarnie friends) once said “she with the most yarn wins” or somesuch. Well, I have an (over)abundance of yarn and several projects in the works. If you, by any chance, are looking for some RedHeart or a particular color of dishcloth yarn, feel free to email me or comment. We’ll see what we can work out.

🙂

Have updated the linky-links here – added a new category in the Links section: Word Nerds. Are you a writer of poetry, prose, fiction, non-fiction, and if you’d like to be added, let me know.

That’s it – back to sorting and categorizing the bins. I have a length of yarn tied around my waist – if I get caught up in there, give it a good yank and pull me back out. (please)
🙂

You took my heart – tossed it aside
Wore me down – took me as your bride
Looked down at me with your lofty airs
Sent me into a world of despair

You took my heart – tore it in two
Stomped on it with your oversized shoe
Told me I’m stupid – deserved that shit
Turned me on to drugs – then dared me to quit

You took my heart – threw it away
Tossed it aside – left it to decay
Beat me down both inside and out
About my worthiness left me to doubt

You took my heart – I loved you despite
The hell you put me through every night
You took my heart – I’m taking it back
You took my heart – I’m. Taking. It. Back!
