Autumn approaches
Termination dust settles
Time to hibernate
————————————

Time for Friday Haiku with Lou. I put a link to a picture printed by a local newspaper story about Termination Dust – surprised I don’t have any pics at hand to show you. Will have to remedy that soon . . . well, as soon as I replace my camera. However we look at it, winter is fast approaching Kenai . . . the fireweed topped out a week or so ago and the air has a decided bite to it. We’re skipping past summer right into pre-winter.

Ahhhhhhhlaska – I love you, I do.

When I see images like that, so gorgeous, I ‘almost’ miss snow.

Hibernation is my strategy when winter descends. Brrr…

I WISH that I could hibernate through Winter – I am becoming less and less tolerant of cold and snow and more enamored of Florida in Winter. But I do love your ‘Ku.

I am almost ready to welcome autumn but wouldn’t mind a few more warm days so I can keep the windows open.
