Body of Water – Extra point if the shore is visible
There is a lot of blue in this photo – it was taken at dusk after a clear, blue-skied day. There seems to be a lot of blue in Alaska and that can play with photos taken.
I cross this bridge each week at least 6 times – my church home is on the other side – actually it is on the side from which this shot was taken. Today I crossed it twice as I had a meeting on the other side.
The bergs you see there on the shore are quite large – about volkswagon sized, some of them,?I’d say. All that ice just floats out into Cook Inlet and on out into the ocean. I imagine it makes the tug captains’ lives a bit of misery.
Anyway – enjoy the blue of Alaska.
BRRRRRR that water looks so COLD!!! My friend Kate lives in Fairbanks, and they are all mud now!! THat is the worst part of winter, when the ice melts and the mud forms. YUCK
