It’s a God thang . . .
Left hubby at the breakfast table – a buddy of his joined him as I left, so it was all good – to go and meet some of the Soldotna knitters for coffee.
I had not checked the Ravelry board before going over – figured even if nobody showed up I would get a cup of good coffee out of the deal. None of the knitters were there . . . but . . .
an acquaintance of mine – met through work – was there and introduced me to her friend – who it turns out I also have spoken with before because of work (on the phone). We sat and chatted about an idea they have for a women’s Bible study group where I work – and some of the road blocks that can (and/or have) come up due to the type work I do and the type of agency for which I work.
“normally” they would not have been at that coffee shop, but their regular meeting place was too crowded – “normally” (if I had checked the board before going and known nobody was going to be there) I would not have gone. BUT, God had a different idea and allowed the three of us to come together for an hour of chatting – work related and personal, too –
all in HIS time. His appointed time.
I love how things like this come together.
