getting tired of seeing the purple map when you stop by? Me, too! So, I thought I would jump in here and post a new picture. I am headed off to Indianapolis early Tuesday morning – driving up to Anchorage Monday afternoon – and I’ll be gone a week. So, I thought I would leave you with this shot of last week’s full moon:
I really want to get a shot of the great big “harvest” type full moon as it rises and is all yellow and such between the Kenai Kards. But, so far I haven’t been in the right spot at the right time – or it hasn’t been in the right spot at the right time.
There is another shot I’d like to get with the moon, but, again . . . it just hasn’t happened yet.
And, yup . . . Kards with a K – the local high school mascot is the Kardinal – Kolors are Red and Black. Both daughters and their hubbies graduated from there and I have two grandkiddos attending now. Sigh! I canNOT be that old.
😉
Okay – you all be good while I’m gone. This is a work-related trip and I won’t be taking the laptop along – well, I don’t plan to – we’ll see what I think about that tomorrow. I WILL be taking knitting along. And books. So, probably not the computer.
I’ll check back in with all of you sometime the 24th.
I hope your trip is enjoyable and safe! It’s hard to get a good shot of the moon, but I think you did pretty darned well!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Be safe and God Bless.
