okay, Ms. Lisa commented that I have been absent . . . yup . . . I’ve not had a lot of time to write much here. Sorry, friends. Glad to see I still have a couple left. 😉 After Christmas . . . I hope to be back writing more often.
In the meantime . . . I am knitting Christmas gifts for the grandkiddos . . . and they are a LOT more important to me than my writing. 😉 Actually, there are just so many hours in a day, and if I am writing (or reading) I can’t knit . . . when I’m not working. lol You ALL know how it is, I know you do.
So . . . an answer to the question – the heater in the car is working very nicely now. It cost a LOT because the guys didn’t quite listen when we told them it was likely the wiring. Took them 2 hours to come to that conclusion – then they called hubby moose to tell him that and said they were trying to track down the ground wire. Hubby moose said – PUT IN A NEW GROUND WIRE! Durh!
Thus they did and we were able to pick up the car in NO time at all . . . to the tune of $265 and change! But, today (at just below zero) it would have been worth it to have paid $1000. You know what I mean?
In addition to knitting for Christmas, this is the busy time of year for school programs and sports activities. We saw oldest grandgirl in her play a couple of weeks back, then last week her choir Christmas concert, and today her Christmas band concert. Her younger sister and cousins all had their first swim meet of the season Saturday . . . in Seward . . . so (of course) I drove over to see them do their thing.
Because I’m THAT kinda gramma, you know.
Anyway. . . don’t tell THEM this . . . but all seven grands are getting a knitted something for Christmas. I have 2 1/4 somethings left to finish. . . for them . . . haven’t even THOUGHT about their parents – or hubby moose – yet. Heh. They all have birthdays coming . . . hahahaha
how many more days is it till Christmas?????
smooches to you all. The PurpleMoose is alive and well . . . and will be back soon.
I found a scarf that I had crotcheted (crotch-et-ed??) a few years ago when I quit smoking. I stared at it in amazement as I recalled that I can actually make things if I want to. Good thing I moved to Texas because I don’t wanna make things like scarves. ha!
Glad you are keeping busy. Thought maybe you had froze down for the winter. heh.
