. . . just how clean YOUR hotel room is? Ever consider leaving a tip – or not leaving a tip – for the housekeeping staff?
Hubbymoose and I have just returned frome a three day trip to the big city (Anchorage) which means we had a two night stay. I used an online price seeker and got a room somewhere we’d never stayed before. One of my coworkers had stayed there, and she is pretty finicky about her rooms, so I figured we were safe.
We were assigned a corner room on the 14th floor – which, by the way, is actually the 13th floor of the building! Hubbymoose and I are not superstitious so this didn’t bother us, but we did get a giggle out of it – going into the elevator and seeing the numbers . . . 10, 11, 12, (Beuler? Beuler?) 14. Weird.
But, the view was nice!
That is the Anchorage skyline from the 13th/14th floor of our hotel. Yeah, the picture is a bit darkish – it was taken around 1:30 a.m.
And, this picture was taken around the same time looking out of the other corner window – Mt. Susitna, aka Sleeping Lady at sunset. (we have LOOOOOOONG days in Alaska summer.) Lovely, huh?
Now, this next picture I am going to hide behind the cut – it’s clean and all that, but some of you might be squeaminsh. Don’t say I didn’t warn you . . .
