Look at those darling, fruity hats. Kristin from Columbus Ohio (my youthful stomping grounds) shipped these up on the purple and orange truck system. 😉
Many thanks – your headbands will warm some teen/adult ears this winter. And, I love, love, LOVE the fruity hats. Ever so cute in cotton. And the magical slippers are tres chic! I put my hand into one to see how they work – stretch-ilicious! Thanks so much.
Then, on the way to an evening presentation I stopped by my mailbox and found two packages:
The first held gorgeously done mittens by Carolyn from Oklahoma. Carolyn and I have decided that we might be long lost cousins – her name and my maiden name are different by only one letter. Ahh those Irish lads! Thanks, Carolyn.
The second package came from Carol in HAWAII!!! Yeah, I sooooo wanna go back there some day.
This hat and the mittens are a beautiful shade of purple – and very warm. Now, lest you wonder why there might be woolen yarns and woolen needs in Hawaii, Carol reminds me:
. . . actually there is some need for mittens in Hawaii. A wet, real windy few days are forecast, with snow for the peaks of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea. They actually have skiing there!
I always forget about the skiing in Hawaii of the mountain variety.
Thanks so much everyone! We are expecting a few more deliveries over the next couple of weeks. I will be delivering everything the first week of December and will post about the delivery when it happens.
You are all AWESOME!!!
