Mama. Mommie. MOM!
What is it, kiddo?
I love you.
I love you, too.
Mama. Mommie. MOM!
What?
Give me kiss.
One for me, too.
Mama.
What, sweetie?
Thank you.
Oh, thank you!

Those thrifty Trifecta editors have asked for a 33 word (only) dialogue. This conversation happened many times over the years of raising my two daughters . . . and many times it has come back to them as they raise my grandchildren. I know you’ve been there, too . . . if you are raising kiddos.
You have that kid-talk totally nailed 🙂 Great post!
Perfect! I think you have been talking to my kids!
Well, isn’t this sweet! It’s been a long time since either of my sons have asked for a kiss…I think it might not happen again 🙁
Aww,I love this Barbara,so sweet & what all moms love:-)My daughter who is going to be 17 this month, still wants to be kissed good night & both us are very happy to kiss & hug each other all the time,ha!ha!
I loved this!! My youngest daughter just turned 7 in January but she still does this thing at night: I kiss her goodnight, just as I am almost to my room, she decides her favorite doll in the world, Sally, needs a kiss. I return to kiss my first plastic granddaughter. Almost to my room, MAMA, YOU FORGOT TO KISS PENGUIN, her stuffed penguin she sleeps with. Why I can’t remember to kiss my daughter, Sally, and Penguin all at the same time is beyond me. Why does she not remember until I’m almost to my bed? She thinks it’s funny. 🙂
Great dialogue. I miss those days. No grand kids yet.
better than the Hershey’s kind even! 🙂
Sweetly done. 🙂
This…is too cute x3
This is great. Well done.
I’m not raising kiddos, but I love the heartfelt “awwww” of this post.
Oh, I love this! These are some of my favourite moments with my son.
Sniff! :’) this is so sweet.
Lovely dialogue!
Yes! Loved this, it reminded me of convos I had with my kiddos when they were little.
love this one so much. 🙂 reminds me of my little lovebug when she’s not acting all three on me. ;D
A lovely conversation! 🙂
Oh, just happy sighs! What beautiful convos children can make.
I love this, Barbara! I get this all the time, and savoring every bit when I still get ’em!
You know, I just had that conversation not five minutes ago! Brilliantly good use of this prompt. Loved it lots.
Sweet.
This is lovely.
So sweet! My kids (21 months & 4 years) are still at the stage where mama-hugs make everything better. I am dreading the day when they learn that I absolutely can’t resist hugs and kisses, and they figure out how to use that to their advantage. 🙂
Very nice.
