Remember our spring? How we kids loved to strip to our undies, dance in the puddles left by rain.
How as teens we’d walk and talk and love. Our rebellion of our parents complete. We loved.
Trifextra challenge week sixty – take their proffered 3 words (remember, rain, rebellion), add our own 33 to those – in any order – to make 36. Then post. These are mine. Where are yours? This weekend’s words will be community judged. Please read and select your top 3 as soon as submissions end and voting begins.
This is sweet and nostalgic. Makes me remember my teen years, in a good way.
I would love to go back to my carefree days, just for a day!
From childhood to the teens, how differently we perceive the springtime.
Brought back memories, nicely done!
Oh how true this is, delightful Barbara, only glad at my age I don’t strip down to my undies and dance in the puddles…or perhaps I just should! 🙂
Actually, yes I do remember that.
Oh soaking in nostalgia…yes….I remember….
So lovely Barbara! Brings back lots of good memories!
Beautiful memory. I wish we could go back to those times.
I just love it. I love thinking about those memories. Thanks for reminding me! 😀
I do remember …Diane
This is a great tribute to the joys of youth. Wonderful piece of writing.
I felt myself sigh after reading this piece. It is so sweetly nostalgic. Wonderful. I sometimes miss childhood.
“rebellion of our parents complete” makes me remember and soften to my own teenagers:)
Mine was a reservoir. Wonderfully evocative!
Life was so simple then… x
Lovely story…happy memory.
I like how you spaced out the wors. It seemed natural, like it was from your diary. Great piece, Mrs Moose.
Ahhh, this brings back memories of fun summer days. Thanks for the smile!
Nice one! I remember…
Oh those good ol’ days!
Beautiful.
Very well done on the prompt.
Pretty ^__^
Sweet memories.
Oh the teen years! When we could rebel and get away with it. Now it’s called mid life crisis;) I loved this too!
it has been so long ago but I remembered those times with this piece. Nice mental journey. Thanks.
That was a simple statement of remembering good times in a picturesque way…well done.
Love the photo, love the innocence of this rebellion.
A beautiful trip down memory lane!Loved this Barbara:-)
I really love this. It has such a warm, comfortable feel.
Sigh!
This is really lovely. Rebellion of our parents – perfectly said.
As I read this I was instantly transported back to my childhood summers down the Jersey shore, when we would wade into muddy/sandy puddles as deep as our waists and know it was worth our mothers yelling at us. Cheers! Nice job.
Congratulations on placing in top three for most recent challenge. You were one of my favorites too.
