We have a century of writers in my family; grandmother, mother, myself, daughter and granddaughter. Taking charge of words before they are lost, we give them to you, to the world as our gift, our blessing.
—————–
I’m running a little dry of the blessings and gifts, but these are the words I came up with today to answer the Trifextra Weekend Challenge:
This weekend we’re asking for exactly 33 of your own words plus the following three words:
• charge
• century
• lost
So 33 of yours plus 3 of ours means that everyone will have a 36 word response this time around.
Thank God for your talented, gifted family. This is one of my favorites of the weekend. good job, Mrs Moose
I don’t think you’re ‘dry’ at all…..Diane
Sounds like a great family! 😀
One talented family. Thank you for sharing your words 🙂
I just love this! Is it true?
I can’t wait to read this book, Barbara. Is it too early to start hitting you up for an autographed copy?
Writing does seem to run in families. I have a brother who writes and only sends stories through email. I have a sister who thinks of fabulous stories but doesn’t write – yet. Take care. Ann
This gift-this blessing…of inestimable worth!
I’m thankful for all those who see the importance of preserving history and experience through writing:)
Lovely piece!
I am so grateful that my paternal grandfather was our family story keeper, and that he wrote them down for us. I can now pass them on to future generations.
This is so beautiful, Barb… but your personal note makes me think you’re feeling sad, maybe? 🙁 {{{HUGS}}}
An important calling. And one you do so well!
