you are on my last nerve
about to topple off
your high horse
and loop da loop
like a whirlwind
a duster of sorts
bad romance
letΓ’β¬β’s start over
Hi, my name is . . .
—————————
those prompt trifecta editors gave us a doozy for the weekend challenge: they gave us a list of words (topple, paradigm, underneath, nerve, honey, loop) from which to pick three; we were then to add 30 of our own to make the weekend 33. The above are mine . . . now it’s your turn.
I want a re-do sometimes too. Fun, fun, Barbara!
sassy little piece. Good.
I like your verse. A great take on the prompts. This was fun.

Everyone could do with a reboot from time to time, sometimes in every conversation! Beautifully captured.
This post reminded me of a lovely Hindi song that means… Let’s become strangers once again… Beautiful post.
If only we could get these do-overs, I usually need at least a half a dozen a week. π
Hahaha loopdaloop
Fun post, Barbara!
Starting overs are great… would that we could all forget the first time around however…. Diane
Do-overs would be great. Maybe it’s the thin air on that high horse that makes people annoying.
If only life had a reset button, but the science is impossible. Great now I need to watch Megamind…
I agree with Adaobi.
This is funny! Do-overs would be nice sometimes, but I wonder if it would make a difference for someone sitting atop their high horse? π
Romance is a whirlwind of emotions and I think you nailed that feeling with the expression “loop da loop”. To me, that’s exactly how it can feel :)))
OOH! I want a re-do sometimes. Especially when my foot is fully in my mouth. π
This one is a terrific take on the prompt words. Bravo.
Sometimes you have a bad day…loved the humor in this one!
Way cool Barbara!I like that idea of doing it all over again:-)Reminded me of a song from Bollywood way back from the 60’s which basically means,”let’s become strangers once again, without any expectations from each other”.
Imaginative idea. I like the idea of a do-over…
π
I’ve felt this way many times myself! I liked this a lot!
Let’s start over! Such a cure poem
Some bad romances could use re-dos for sure.
Thanks for linking up!
That was a lot of fun to read. Nice use of the prompts!
Great piece! I think we could all use a start-over from time to time!
