What a spring and summer we have had, folks. As we enter autumn many of us are still confined to our homes or, if we have been welcomed back to work, working part time hours. How are you all doing?
Hubby and I are weathering it just fine for the most part. We are blessed to have a daughter who does our weekly shop. We are blessed to have a son-in-love who takes our trash to the dump whenever he goes with theirs.
I am blessed to have a job that allows me to work from home and pays me even for my down time. I know without a doubt that I am very fortunate to be in this position.
My church is meeting again, but I am staying home and participating through facebook. I’m delighted to see friends – even if it is just the backs of their heads. 🙂
ZOOM is my newest best friend – as I am sure it is for you also. Who would have ever believed this was how we would conduct meetings?
Indeed, if this had to happen at any time, what better time than this – in this age of wonderment and social platforms.
And, in this election season hubby and I are grateful to be able to vote by mail. Our city and borough ballots have been returned. We are waiting to receive our state and federal ballots. What a world. What a world. My grandma would be shaking her head in disbelief.
Hope y’all are well. Drop a note and let me know how you’re doing.
Didn’t realize you were still writing here. 🙂
