Hubby took my hard drive in to have the cd repaired or changed. The door did not always open properly. Turned out they changed it. No biggie. Thanks, guys, I appreciate that.
They also decided the fan was “making a funny noise.” Now, that actually sounds like a woman’s way to explain something, huh? Anyway, they changed out the fan, too. Thanks, guys, I appreciate that.
What I DON’T appreciate – or understand – is this apparently inbred need to change around my desktop icons to YOUR satisfaction – and my browser bar to YOUR satisfaction. You know, it was just fine the way I had it. I was used to it, could find things without digging around in the little file folders YOU thought it best to install on MY desktop.
Sheesh!!! What is it with you techie peeps out there? Don’t mess with the little old lady’s lifeline, will ya?
You also added software which you and hubby decided I needed – more security stuff or some such. I was doing just fine, thank you. It is not MY machine that picked up the virus, now is it? Nope, I thought not. And, btw, just WHERE is my AIM???? Hmmmm? Am I gonna hafta download that puppy and set it up again? I know that I didn’t use it all that often, but I DID use it. So, why did you all think it necessary to hide it or eliminate it, huh?

Slept in this morning – still extremely tired for some reason or another. Seems there is a bug running rampant through the family and hubby thinks I might be infected with it. Anyway, I slept in clear until 7:30 a.m. when said hubby called me to tell me F wasn’t going to make it down from Anc. until 8:30 did I want to come in and have breakfast with him? Ummm, no – need to hit the shower. Oh, did I wake you? Dur!
So, instead of jumping right up to hit the shower, since I was sitting here where the phone is, I decided to come in here and rant a bit. Aren’t you all glad I did? 😉
