Ah, my girl
your incessant chatter does
exhaust me
my ears bleed verbs
and nouns and
hormones
and joy
interminable
always and forever
joy
you talk
we listen
you love
we receive
thankfully

The Pup, granddaughter #2, is a chatterer. We tease her sometimes about how she only is quiet when she sleeps . . . but then she talks in her sleep. Her mama says she makes our ears bleed.

But it is such happy chatter and she has such LOVE to share . . . like the heart she drew in the snow on my car this morning as she left for school. I had to take a picture and share it here . . . along with my 33 words for Trifecta’s challenge EXHAUST.

She blew into the room as fast as lightening. Brown eyed bombshell with big hair from here to Texas, she was. And my heart stopped. I was smitten. I had to be hers.

Trifextra challenge: use hyperbole in a 33 word piece. Texas is on my brain (I get to travel there in April) and I know some big haired gals from there. So, this is what came out. Hope it fits the definition.

I love hearts in nature – this is a beautiful shot – not taken by me (proper attributes beneath the pic).

Hubbymoose and I do not, as a rule, celebrate what he calls a hallmark holiday. We have been together a very long time. Thinking back, I don’t think we ever made a very big deal of the day . . . several reasons: he is not a flower person (doesn’t like cut flowers he says, because they too soon die); he doesn’t like chocolate (never mind that I do – haha – just ask my hips); he “can’t remember” dates.

That last one is probably the closest to being true. In Alaska, especially in the depths of winter, we all too often go day to day, go to work, go to the gym, go to church, without thinking of DATES, but only days. This is one reason I have a work calendar so I can remember where I am supposed to be and when.

So, dates like February 14th slip by us.

Except that it is our youngest grandson’s birthday. We remember that!!!

Happy birthday buddy. We love you.

You may remember my post from January 1st nattering on about my birthday and my favorite number and that meaning I would be 21 today (instead of 63) and random acts of kindness . . . No? Well, go re-read . . . I’ll wait right here.

Back? Cool! So, now the following picture might make a bit more sense . . .

Hubbymoose (bless him) drew 8 names out of the bag from all the commenters on that post. Those folks (VivinFrance, Lumdog, Tara, Charmaine, Janna, Tom McInnes, Lance, and Lucy) have been notified by email or a post to their websites, seeking mailing addresses so that I can send out your pretties.

To the rest of you . . . thank you for playing along. I may do this again. Stay tuned.

Hey! I see you there
Hind leg hiked
I’m watching you
make your daily rounds
I have a message for you
from Fi-Fi Poodle
It’s here ‘neath this root
Sniff! Ahh, true love

Trifecta’s editors asked for 33 word using personification. This tree is in my Sister-Friend’s yard in Anchorage. I’ve lost her, but not the memories.
