Two daughters have I
With eyes of blue
Younger versions of me

Artistic and talented
Delighting me, their mother

Better yet their love is shown
In seven children they’ve borne
Giving me Grand-love

Here is the promised sentimental piece for Trifecta’s Mother of all Mother challenges. Thanks for the comments on the other two pieces. Hope you moms out there have a great Mother’s Day.

I love that — Grand-Love. It is indeed Grand.

  4. Is it funny that the beginning of this one reminded me a little of the Brady Bunch theme?

(Fine. I’m a dork. Had you not figured that out by now?)

I can tell from many of your past posts that you are a proud and happy grandmother. As my kids age (which is killing me to the point that I expect to need medicinal intervention very soon), it’s nice to hear great things from people like you and my own mother about the joys of grandmotherhood. 🙂

Thanks so much for this sweet response, Barbara. Quite a diversion from your first entry. 🙂 I’m already looking forward to grandbabies, and my three-year-old girl promises me she’ll give them to me. But. . .she promises a lot of things.

You lucky duck with 7 grandbabies. I’m not nearly there but I can tell how exciting a mother’s day would be if I was you. Have a great day PM.

Two daughters with a total of seven kids between them IS far more than twice the love!!
