Greetings all.
Up bright and early this morning – used the neck contraption that is supposed to help put the curve back into my neck – surprisingly, my neck always feels better when I’ve used the thing! Rode the stationery bike for 45 minutes – averaging 17-18 mph – 12.75 miles. Still a bit chilly in the early am (5-5:30ish) to walk outside, but it is getting closer. I can feel it.
yup – not quite this warm, really. This is on a building close to where I work – a week ago I couldn’t stand it when the thing said it was 116 degrees. 116 degrees – in Kenai, Alaska, friends! Yeah, I think not. 😉 (yes, I know it says 112 – by the time I pulled into the driveway and got my camera out it had gone down 4 degrees – drat it all)
So, I took the pic above and sent it in to KTUU tv weathercaster Scott Elnes – and he showed it on Monday last. That’s the second of my pics that I have seen him use. I’ve sent a couple others and he may have used them, but likely not yet. Said this morning that they have quite a backlog of them for now.
the correct temp? Sure, I can show you that, too. Taken less than a quarter mile down the road from the first pic:
Ummm – yeah, that’s more like it – 41 degrees. 😉 Today it is supposed to get near 50. Yay! Spring is here. The snow in the yard is gone – Yay again. Hubby has been out on his motorcycle once. Mine is sitting there waiting for me – just need to find the time and the strength to go. Still tired in the evenings, but it is getting better. I did take a nap between church services yesterday – which is much better than taking a nap? DURING church services. Ha. Felt so much better having done that. We may have to look into taking the grandkidlets shopping on Saturday evenings from now on so this old moose can get a nap on Sundays. Well, we will see.
Have a delightful day, everyone. Remember those around you who might be suffering some upset or illness in their life. Give them a smile or two – you’ll be surprised at how quickly the smiles will come back to you. It’s just like putting them into a bank and earning interest.

It has been really cold here too, sun out, but gale force winds and 37 degrees real temp. BRRRRRR
I bet when it decides to get warm it will FRY us!
