I’ve said here before – I am not much of a tv watcher. There is not much on that I care to sit through, you see. I’d rather be reading or writing – back here in my room with all of you. (that doesn’t make me a freak, does it?)

However . . . there are a few shows that I like to watch (ER being my all time favorite) – or for some reason have gotten pulled into to watch. When Biggest Loser first came on – all of the promos made me self-righteously proclaim that I would NOT watch it – I thought that fat people were being used – I, being a fat person, felt I could be self-righteous about that feeling.

I watched the first night and got suckered right into it – I now work out with Bob and Susie and others on the Biggest Loser dvd. (sigh!) I watched all of those pounds fall away and I saw it done with dignity – no I don’t always care for the hostess (either one) and I do feel they have been condescending at times . . . but all in all, I have felt it was a good show.

I didn’t dislike too many of the contestants – although there were some who I felt were whiners – and I will admit to an “ah-ha!” when they were eliminated. However, I, being the fat gal that I am, felt a teensy bit sad for each one as they left.

Fast forward to the Treasure Hunters – I missed the first episode and came in late on the second one. But, since then, I have been right there. I’m not much of a treasure hunter myself, although I have gotten the treasure chest tests correctly each week. But, I would be like some of them, I’m afraid, and stand in the middle of all of the glaring clues saying what????

But I am a fair play kinda gal . . . so there have been just some teams whose departure made me smack my hands together and utter a “YES!” when they were eliminated. Okay, not “some” – actually TWO teams.

The Wild Hanlons?- omg! racist, bigoted, stooooopid to boot. Their reaction to the Brown Family coming back after the Grad Students had to eliminate themselves? Well, let’s just say it wasn’t pretty and they did not shine in that moment.

My next least favorite team players were eliminated tonight – the Fogals. I did not see the episode where daddy fogal stole the map out of one of the grad students’ hands. But plenty of their shenanigans was shown in the episodes I watched. The worst part? I’m not so sure that they even realized how petty and small their actions were. The term “dumb blonde” comes into play not only for the daughter (screaming banshee that she is/was) but for the mother as well. Daddy needs to learn to stand up a bit more to his wimmin, I’m thinking.

So, there are now five teams left. And, wouldn’t it just be a kick if the Miss USA beauty queens took it? lol

In other news – I am outta here again Tuesday. Back to Vegas – this time for a conference as mentioned in a previous post. I’ll see you all back here again this weekend. Think cool thoughts for me, okay?

This moose is going to do her impression of a baked alaska(n). heh.

YAAAAAAAAAAY! the fogals got FOGALED at LAST!

I am not ashamed to admit we CHEEEEEEEEEEERED when they got eliminated. And her boohooohooo “it was ok cuz it was a CHURCH and thats my HOME” well they’re actions certainly didn’t bring that to the fore for the whole competition. I am GLAD to see them GO!

    GOOOOO SOUTHIE BOYS!
