So, it is not even 8 am yet and I am fixing to make my second cup of coffee. Yum! Poor man’s mocha – hot chocolate mixed with rich, black coffee and a bit of milk. Hey – it works for me.

because . . .

it is C.O.L.D. out there, friends! I know, I know, you keep reminding me that it is ALASKA out there for goodness’ sake! But, still! Our cold snap is generally in January or February – or both. This is a bit early for us.

Hubby Moose’s week at school has been interesting. His student missed a couple of days due to tonsilitis. On the days both were there, hubby decided he remembered just why he hated going to school the FIRST time. Yes, I admit, I laugh each time he says it. Poor baby.

But, hey – it’s a paycheck. And, after a year, that is welcome.

That’s it, folks. That’s all I’ve got for now – I may come back later and add to this entry. If not – see you Monday! Have a wonderful Sunday.

I love mocha made that way. I came up with that fix for some gawdawful coffee I had in a Hampton Inn somewhere. I still make it that way here at home, esp. with yesterday’s coffee.

Back in my waitressing days, that is how I had my coffee on cold winter mornings, yum.
