Hubby Moose’s favorite radio station is, but of course, the Oldies station. The radio in his van is set to that station . . . I wake up each morning to that station. It is currently playing behind me.
It’s like we are stuck in a time loop, people.
We used to hear Jay and Teresa each morning. Her time slot has changed and now we hear Jay and Maria. Sometimes the “humor” from these folks is what gets me out of bed in the morning – there’s a reason for the quotes around the word.
The “humor” alone will take you back to the 60s – 70s – 80s. Again with the time loop – again with the heartfelt scream that never makes it out of my brain – grow up, people!
And, speaking of loops – is it just me – or does it seem that the same songs play over and over and over again?
well, really, just how much music was written and played in the 60s – 70s – 80s? Let me rephrase that – how much GOOD music was written and played . . . Ah, that’s a bit different.
It occurred to me this morning that a lot of this music is 40+ years old! Take for instance, “PS, I love you” which is playing now (and, I might add, bringing back a lot of memories of high school dances!)
FORTY. YEARS. OLD!
Yeah, I wish I could say I was only forty. Hahaha. I crack myself up.
Enjoy your day, folks, I am gonna get up and go turn off that radio . . . just as soon as the Beatles quit singing . . . chachacha.
