grndoor?

Entry for Odilia Liuzzi’s Inspiration Challenge: Doors. That’s one well used and abused door. Found on the shed in our back yard – I couldn’t get to it through the snow, so I opened our dining room window and leaned waaaaaaaaaaaaaay out to take the shot. (where there’s a will, there’s a way)

zayballpit?

I would have entered this into Inspiration Challenge’s Multi-colour contest – if only I had gotten the shot before that challenge was closed. 😉 Nevertheless, there is our youngest grand-boy playing in the ball pit at his sister’s therapy place. It was her therapy graduation day and while she was off working, he was exploring the rest of the rooms. This was a happy circumstantial shot and, yes, it is being printed out for the wall of my office. I have one frame that I continually change photos in – it faces the door, so many of my coworkers stop by to see the newest. (I’m printing a copy for you, too, Ladybug)

Doesn’t he look like he is having a ball? (pun intended). (more…)

Just as soon as I saw the object of the Inspiration Challenge this week, I knew this was the picture that had to be posted. It is an older one – a bit grainy – the little guy in the photo is now 7 years old. He is her first born and she was so delighted with him. He had to have surgery right after he was born and that was a scary time for all of us. He is a happy, healthy, delightful little guy now. You can tell from the photo with this entry. That’s his little sister posing with him. ;-)?

I have similar photos of this daughter with her others and I have similar photos of Lessa with her kiddos. But as this one came to mind first, this is the one I will post.

skyfire?

we get some of the most glorious sunrise and sunset action in the winter time. Here is a sample of one such sunrise. I used this photo for my Christmas cards this year
